Introducing the Artirix Query Editor (AQE)

Introducing the Artirix Query Editor (AQE)

Here at Artirix, we’re passionate about creating fast and easy to use search experiences. For many of our clients, this involves searching across a defined geographical area to return items that fall within it. This was most problematic with property portals, with views on what properties a given area should include varying between users, agents and other stakeholders. This was further compounded by the inability of the clients to edit the area themselves, meaning any request to change had to go through our issue tracking system.

For a while now, we've been on the lookout for the best CI/CD automation server that suits our needs in Artirix. We were using ThoughtWorks Go for a while, but found it a bit cumbersome and demanding to maintain. This brought us to the managed ThoughtWorks Snap-CI, which lured us in with a nice interface, cool debugging capabilities (snap-shell) and integration with Github. However, there are a few things in Snap that are starting to hurt us in our daily operations.

EasyGroup launches easyProperty with Artirix

New online letting agent easyProperty.com was officially launched this week at a glitzy party at the Natural History Museum in London. Sir Stelios and easyProperty CEO Rob Ellice took to the stage to explain to attendees why

“Now is the right time to bring the traditional estate agency model into the digital age.”
“Why can’t you transact seven days a week? Why do you have to take a day off to sort your references out? It’s not the way we live today.”

The service is powered by Artirix components customised to support the online agency model.
easyProperty.com will initially focus on the lettings market, offering a ‘pick and mix’ range of services such as photography, viewings, deposit handling and tenancy agreements. This unbundled pricing model, which has been pioneered by the easyGroup, offers landlords complete choice and control and will allow them to create a bespoke package to suit their individual requirements, and at a fraction of the cost of traditional estate agents.
